Sports Day & Colour Run
We didn’t think we could top the success of last year’s events, but this year may have done just that!
Our Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of teamwork, energy, and school spirit. From traditional races to more unexpected events (yes, even curling made an appearance!), it was brilliant to see everybody fully embracing the day. A special mention must go to our most enthusiastic teacher, Ian, whose infectious energy and competitive spirit set the tone for everyone. With Ian leading the charge for the Green Team, it’s no surprise they clinched the win!
In the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome parents and carers to join us for our annual Colour Run. This is a firm favourite in our school calendar. There’s nothing quite like the joy, laughter, and bursts of colour that fill the School on this day. It’s a highlight for staff, students, and families alike, and a wonderful way to close the year on a high.

Lamfest 2025
Lamfest returned this year and it really did feel bigger and better than ever. It was a brilliant day and a real team effort from everyone involved.
Our students came up with so many of the ideas themselves and helped bring them to life. We had stalls including hook a duck, tombola, guess the name of the teddy and the ever popular sponge the teacher. It was great to see them so proud of what they had created.
A big thank you to Madeley Town Council for lending us the garden games which added even more fun to the day. We were also really pleased to welcome Challenging Perceptions who came along to speak to parents and carers about the work they do. We were proud to raise money to support such an important cause.
Lamfest is always a special day and this year was no exception. It was a great way to come together and celebrate everything our school community stands for.
