You will see below our School Values, Rights and Rules. These are embedded in everything that we do. All of our students know them and can even earn merits based on them. See here for our merit system.

*NEW* for 2025 – Personal Development Values 

We have launched a new initiative for our students around personal development and growth which means we focus on the all-round character of the student rather than them being solely based on education and in curriculum lessons.

Our first week was Kindness Week. Students were nominated for acts of kindness by staff and peers. Student winners get 100 merits. We have even involved staff so that students can highlight any acts of kindness that staff show towards each other or their students.

We can’t wait to see our other themes come to life across our school community.

 

 

Our Values

At Lamledge school we share a key set of values that are agreed and promoted by the whole school and are reinforced through our teaching and learning.

Our Rights

Everyone in the school community has rights based on our aims and ethos and these have further informed through the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child (UNCRC).

These rights are:

  • To be heard.
  • To have beliefs.
  • To receive support.
  • To be treated with respect and dignity.
  • To learn/teach.

Our School Expectations

  • We respect that everyone has the right to fell safe emotionally and physically.
  • We treat others kindly and with respect.
  • We take care of property and the school building.
  • We enable everyone to learn, including ourselves.
  • We are always in the right place at the right time.
