This afternoon, we were delighted to host a fantastic Comic Relief coffee and cake event at school, bringing together students, staff, parents and carers for a brilliant cause.
Parents and carers were invited in to enjoy a wide selection of cakes, all prepared by our students. Alongside this, students took on the responsibility of making and serving hot drinks, developing valuable confidence and real world skills in a welcoming and supportive setting.
One of our students also showed great initiative by organising a slime making activity, inviting donations and successfully raising over £20 for Comic Relief. It was a wonderful example of creativity and independence in action.
The event had a lovely atmosphere and it was great to see so many families come along to support. It was a genuine team effort, with contributions from across the school making it a real success.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event, as well as all the staff and students who helped bring everything together.
It was a fantastic way to round off the week and a reminder of what can be achieved when our school community comes together.
