Community Outreach – Work Based Learning

Four students from our Construction class and Oaks project group visited Wulfrun Rose – Macc Care to explore how they could help improve the garden.

After introducing themselves, they looked around, sketched ideas for planters and small chairs, and measured existing items to help plan their builds.

All four represented the school brilliantly, showing excellent manners and behaviour while developing teamwork, confidence, communication and independence.

Next up: calculating materials, comparing costs and getting ready to build once the materials arrive. We’re all looking forward to what these two groups produce.
