English Trip to Shakespeare’s Birthplace

This week, our year 7 students went to Stratford Upon Avon to visit the birth place of William Shakespeare, as they are currently studying The Tempest. This work started earlier in the week in lessons studying hard to understand about the book, which the students really engaged in.

The students then went to see what life was like for William Shakespeare in Stratford, visiting the school that he went to and seeing where he was educated.

The students really enjoyed the experience and had a lovely day. What a great way to enrich the curriculum for our students.
