Last week, two pupils from Lamledge School took part in an unforgettable five day skiing experience in the beautiful Italian resort of Pila.
Throughout the trip, they embraced a wide range of SMSC opportunities. This included experiencing Italian culture, trying new foods, developing independence while navigating airports, and building social connections with pupils from other OFG schools.
On the slopes, both pupils made exceptional progress over the course of the week. Their confidence and technical ability grew day by day, culminating in an outstanding achievement by the end of the trip.
Both pupils successfully completed every black run in the resort, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a real sense of personal accomplishment.
This trip provided far more than just skiing. It offered valuable life experiences, supported personal development, and created lasting memories.
It is a truly special achievement, and one that both pupils should feel incredibly proud of.
