Welcome back – 2026-27 Here we go!!

As we begin another exciting academic year at Lamledge School, we would like to extend a very warm welcome back to all our pupils, families, staff and wider school community.

The start of a new school year always brings a sense of anticipation, opportunity and fresh beginnings. We are incredibly proud of everything our pupils achieved during the last academic year and we are looking forward to building on those successes throughout 2026/27.

This year promises to be another exciting chapter for Lamledge. Alongside our continued focus on high quality education, therapeutic support and personal development, we have a range of activities, initiatives and enrichment opportunities planned that will help our pupils grow in confidence, resilience and independence.

As a specialist SEMH school, we know that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our aim is to provide opportunities that help pupils develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to thrive both in school and in the wider world. Through our curriculum, enrichment programme and daily experiences, we work together to support every young person to achieve their potential.

Developing the Whole Child Through SMSC

Throughout the Autumn Term, our Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) programme will provide pupils with opportunities to explore important themes, celebrate diversity, learn about the world around them and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others.

Our SMSC calendar has been carefully planned to encourage discussion, reflection and engagement with local, national and global events. Through assemblies, tutor activities, curriculum links and enrichment opportunities, pupils will explore a wide range of topics that promote respect, responsibility, citizenship and personal growth.

Looking Ahead

The year ahead will bring many opportunities for learning, achievement and celebration. We are particularly excited about:

  • Further enrichment and educational visits
  • Careers and employability opportunities
  • Community engagement projects
  • Personal development and wellbeing initiatives
  • Sporting, creative and cultural experiences
  • Celebrating pupil achievements and successes

Most importantly, we look forward to seeing our pupils continue to develop the confidence, resilience and skills that will support them both now and in the future.

Thank you to our families for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will make the 2026/27 academic year a successful, memorable and rewarding one for every pupil.

We wish everyone a fantastic start to the new school year.

Welcome back, and here we go!
