Christmas at Lamledge this year was nothing short of magical, filled with joy, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness. Our festivities brought smiles to the faces of students and staff alike, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
One of the highlights of the season was a special visit from Father Christmas himself—accompanied by a few of his trusty reindeer! To make his visit even more special, we transformed our immersive room into a stunning Christmas grotto, complete with twinkling lights, festive decorations, and an atmosphere that truly captured the magic of the season.
Each of our students had the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and share their Christmas wishes. For some, it was their first time sitting down with him, making the experience all the more meaningful. Watching their faces light up with wonder and excitement was a privilege for all of us involved—it’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
This year, we also added a new twist to our staff Christmas celebrations. Inspired by the overwhelming success of our family Summer Party, we decided to host a family-friendly Christmas gathering. Father Christmas kindly stayed to join the festivities, and we invited staff and their families to enjoy a delicious hog roast.
The event featured a cozy hot chocolate station, plenty of snacks, and a buffet that delighted guests of all ages. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate, creating a true sense of community that embodies the spirit of Lamledge.
