Bringing an English lesson to life!

Restaurant Critics

As part of their English curriculum, some of our students took part, as restaurant critics, in an immersive dining experience held at ‘Restaurant Lamledge’.

They sampled the ‘mouth-watering mid-week roast’ which had been prepared by chef Heather and was expertly served by our waiter ‘Manuel’ aka Pete.

Both students were delighted with the quality of the food and the service and asked whether they could look forward to the same experience every week!

A five star rating was awarded overall for the ‘exquisite food’ which was ‘bursting with flavour!’ and they will now be writing detailed reviews to share with the school team.

The aim of the event was to learn different kinds of writing styles. They learnt about the impact adjectives and alliteration can have on a piece of writing.
